Come join seasoned colleagues for a 5-day renewal and update on current pedagogical practices and evolved theoretical grounding in Montessori adolescent work.

Since the development of a full AMI diploma course for the third plane, the theory has deepened, and the practices have moved toward more community-centered, fully integrated, adolescent-centered social organization and decision-making.

This gathering will re-immerse you in the experience of generating Study and Work from the community’s needs, give you practice in preparing to be flexible and responsive to the natural process of learning and doing as the work unfolds organically in partnership with adolescents.

We will consider the integration of math, language, and self-expression as projects unfold.

We will hear presentations on the consolidation of Montessori third plane theory, have one seminar, and spend time every day in open discussion on the topics YOU want to discuss: post-COVID impacts, social media, the role of AI, the shift in cultural perception of land-based, hands-on work—or whatever the group decides.
