The symbol is to represent the 4 corners of the Earth. The International Montessori Training Institute considers it our responsibility to serve our international community, and help our students, our graduates, and those committed to the advocacy work of serving the child, be guided in their directions while staying on course. The triangles as basic constructors remind us that a strong foundation is essential. The science and soul are united, with contemplation and reflection accompanying our knowledge and our research. The rose represents the culmination of the gardener’s achievement, supporting human nature. In the first Casa dei Bambini, Dr. Montessori would go to the rose garden after observing. It was this quiet time which helped Dr. Montessori truly see the child. |
